Episode 15 - Facing the Origin Story Part 3: Healing Meditation, Coherence, & Gifting Miracles

New Episode - Facing the Origin Story Part 3:

Healing Meditation, Coherence, & Gifting Miracles

The final installment of our Facing the Origin Story series is here.

In Part 3, Ashlieya and Neff invite you into a heartfelt conversation about healing meditation, collective intention, coherence, radical forgiveness, and the possibility of creating meaningful change from the inside out.

This episode centers on a group healing meditation they called Operation Gift of Miracle—a gathering created with permission, focused intention, and the desire to offer love and support to Carl. From there, the conversation expands into a larger question: What becomes possible when we intentionally align our thoughts, emotions, bodies, and actions with what we hope to create?

What does coherence mean?

For Ashlieya and Neff, coherence is not about forcing yourself to be positive or avoiding life’s hard emotions. It is about developing a closer relationship with your body, your inner world, and the intention behind your actions.

They explore the idea that healing work begins with awareness:

  • Listening to the signals of your body.

  • Allowing emotions to be present without letting them control your actions.

  • Practicing love, gratitude, and compassion.

  • Becoming honest about the motivations behind what you do.

  • Choosing the energy and values you want to embody.

The conversation is rooted in the belief that lasting change starts inwardly—and that the way we tend to our own healing can ripple into our relationships, families, communities, and beyond.

Gifting miracles

What does it mean to “gift a miracle”?

In this episode, Ashlieya and Neff reflect on the difference between trying to fix someone and showing up with clear, benevolent intention. They share why permission matters, why they do not frame their work as a service they market, and why they see collective meditation as an opportunity for everyone involved—not only the person receiving support.

They also discuss the role of belief. If we can expand what we believe is possible for others, can we begin to expand what we believe is possible for ourselves?

Facing the past differently

Part 3 also returns to one of the core themes of the series: our origin stories.

Ashlieya speaks openly about radical forgiveness, generational patterns, and reshaping the meaning she carries from past experiences. Together, she and Neff discuss how discernment, self-awareness, and compassion can help us respond to painful realities without allowing fear, anger, or judgment to become the force that drives our choices.

This is not a conversation about denying darkness or bypassing difficult emotions. It is an invitation to meet them with curiosity, self-acceptance, and the freedom to choose what we nurture next.

Welcome to Builders of a Better World Podcast, a space for depth, clarity, and honest conversation, where presence matters more than performance. Let’s begin.

Ashlieya: Welcome back, Builders of a Better World podcast, where we celebrate women bleeding.

Neff: We always celebrate that.

Ashlieya: We do always celebrate that. We do celebrate women bleeding.

Neff: Yes.

Ashlieya: We do, on behalf of any man or boy, woman or girl, who's ever been ashamed or embarrassed by their menstrual cycle. I wish you wouldn't. It's very rare that I speak about things like this, and it's very rare that I share my opinions. Usually I'm a see-every-perspective kind of human, and this is one where I feel like I definitely lean a very firm direction.

Neff: Nobody should be embarrassed about, number one, nobody should be embarrassed about something that naturally happens, right?

Ashlieya: Agreed.

Neff: But then there is something…

Ashlieya: There's a social stigma around it being inappropriate to discuss. And I felt very much conditioned toward feeling like it was gross, and it is not. It is not gross.

Neff: No, of course not.

Ashlieya: We should celebrate it. We should celebrate our periods. It's a sign that we have healthy, happy, fertile bodies.

Neff: It's nature.

Ashlieya: It is nature.

Neff: Yep. It's beautiful nature.

Ashlieya: I'm on day two of my bleed. Yay!

Neff: Exciting.

Ashlieya: Yay, women! On that subject, 19 of July, 2026, some recent time ago, the Upton Lovell shaman has been confirmed to be a woman.

Neff: Oh yeah, talk about that. So, you were telling me just yesterday.

Ashlieya: Buried approximately—I believe, what was it, 1800 BC? Don't quote me on that—but it's a very, very, very old skeleton that was found within a reasonable proximity to Stonehenge, buried with all sorts of tools and an axe, as well as animal bones that were arranged in a way that seemed intended to be ornate. Which is lovely. And it was said that that individual must have been a metalworker of some kind, able to use metals, which is a valuable skill set, as anyone can imagine at that time. And it was just assumed that it was a man, and it's been found to, in fact, be a woman.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: This was a person of significance in their community, and she was female. Yes.

Neff: Celebrate women.

Ashlieya: Yes. Women of importance in history. Yes. And we bleed.

Neff: Women are awesome.

Ashlieya: Hopefully. For a duration, we bleed. Yes! Women are awesome. Thank you for that. That's so nice.

Neff: I have felt that way for a very, very long time.

Ashlieya: Smart man. Very smart man.

Okay. Chipper, we need to be more lively.

Neff: Okay.

Ashlieya: We need to reflect our goofiness a bit better. I'm feeling like we get on here and we get very serious, and that's not typically the nature of how we engage in our communication, you and I.

Neff: Well, I mean, we do get serious. Come on.

Ashlieya: Sure.

Neff: Absolutely.

Ashlieya: And…

Neff: And we're very lighthearted.

Ashlieya: Exactly.

Neff: Always. Even when we're serious, we're very lighthearted.

Ashlieya: That's exactly right. That's what I'm saying.

Neff: Always high-vibrating. Well, most of the time.

Ashlieya: Well, not always.

Neff: Yeah, most of the time. We try. We try to be high-vibrating.

Ashlieya: Yes, we do.

Neff: Even when we're bleeding, right?

Ashlieya: Yes! Even when we're on our periods. And I celebrate mine. I'm very glad that she's here. I'm very glad that I'm healthy.

Neff: Well, I mean, that means you're healthy.

Ashlieya: I'm very glad that systems seem to be working okay. I celebrate it. I celebrate being a woman, and I celebrate still being in the era of my maiden—pre-motherhood, pre-crone.

Neff: Pre-crone.

Ashlieya: We'll embrace the crone.

Neff: Oh my word. Crone?

Ashlieya: Yes. That is the cycle of the female.

Neff: Oh, okay. So we don't have a negative connotation to crone.

Ashlieya: No. It's when you're no longer fertile and you're like the older, wise—

Neff: Oh, I see.?

Ashlieya: You know

Neff: The wisdom of the crone.

Ashlieya: Yes.

Neff: I like that. Totally.

Ashlieya: Words are symbols. It’s all about the meaning you assign to them.

Neff: Oh, and I will now assign a much more positive connotation to the word crone.

Ashlieya: It's okay for women in post-menopause to still be considered significant.

Neff: Oh, I agree.

Ashlieya: And so what do you call that phase of life? You can call it whatever you want.

Neff: My mom is the best crone.

Ashlieya: She's excellent. She's an excellent example of a crone.

Neff: See? Positive connotation.

Ashlieya: Celebrate the crone. Celebrate the maiden. Celebrate the mother. Celebrate the crone.

Neff: Absolutely.

Ashlieya: Just every cycle and phase of being a woman—women loving women, women loving men, women loving whoever they want to.

Neff: Sure.

Ashlieya: As long as they have access to adequate medical care and freedom of their own choices and liberties, with the ability to make the same amount of money as men, it’s all good in my world.

Neff: Totally. I agree with all of that.

Ashlieya: It’s very rare that I speak about this.

Neff: And I agree with every piece of it. Well done.

Ashlieya: I'm usually celebrate-all-perspectives, celebrate-all-the-sides. There's value to every perspective, but these are areas I do feel I just wish were more universal.

Neff: Oh, absolutely. There's no reason for them not to be, right?

Ashlieya: Well, except there are men who disagree.

Neff: Well, yeah. We don't like those guys.

Ashlieya: Well, we like everybody. We just try to be the change.

Neff: Be the change.

Ashlieya: So I'm sharing that I'm celebrating my lovely circle around the moon,

Neff: And it's nothing to be embarrassed about. That was the main thing, right?

Ashlieya: Nothing to be embarrassed about.

Neff: We can talk about it. We can discuss it. We can be very frank, and it is a beautiful, healthy thing.

Ashlieya: Exactly.

Neff: Excellent

Ashlieya: Thank you. And we have a puppy, Gleoite, who's blessing us every day.

Neff: Gleoite's hanging with us today. He is such a cutie.

Ashlieya: He's a good boy.

Neff: I describe him as a little kind of tough dude walking around being like, “Hey.”

Ashlieya: He's a little machismo.

Neff: Yeah, he's got a little machismo on him.

Ashlieya: Yeah. He’s got the…

Neff: He likes to bark at large dogs.

Ashlieya: He's a very stereotypically small dog.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: Lap dog. Pampered pup.

Neff: He would prefer to be in Lieya’s arms than anything else.

Ashlieya: And he is prone to a little more aggressive tendencies. I will say, he's not… He's got a big heart. And a lot of ferociousness.

Neff: Tiny ferociousness.

Ashlieya: He is ferocious.

Neff: He's a cutie too.

Ashlieya: He's the best.

Neff: Super cute.

Ashlieya: I am an all-dog lover. I went from being a big-dog lover to an all-dog lover.

Neff: Yes. It used to be that you had German Shepherd mixes, pit bulls—

Ashlieya: Love pit bulls.

Neff: Cane Corsos. Right? All pretty much—

Ashlieya: Wolves. Can't forget about the wolves.

Neff: All pretty much on the large spectrum.

Ashlieya: And now I have Pomeranians.

Neff: And now you have Pomeranians. Two of them. Adorable Pomeranians.

Ashlieya: I love them too much.

Neff: And a small—not just a normal Pomeranian. This is like a mini, right?

Ashlieya: He’s… Yeah.

Neff: Isn’t he toy?

Ashlieya: Not purposefully. Well, I think it wasn't intended for him to be teacup or toy or any

of those things. He just so happens to be extra small.

Neff: And he is small.

Ashlieya: He's not your average Pomeranian. I mean, I don't know. This is my first time having Pomeranians, but I understand them to exceed six pounds.

Neff: Well, Mac Ri, I would say, is an average Pomeranian.

Ashlieya: He is an average Pomeranian. Yeah. I mean, he's not average—he's exceptional.

Neff: Well, he's exceptional because of who he is.

Ashlieya: In the weight percentile, he's average. Right in the middle.

Neff: And he's the same age as Gleoite.

Ashlieya: Approximately.

Neff: Yeah. And Gleoite is definitely much smaller.

Ashlieya: Yeah. Mac Ri is about six pounds.

Neff: Yep.

Ashlieya: And Gleoite is less than four, depending… On a fat day, it’s four. Four pounds.

Neff: And all of that is in his attitude. He has four pounds of attitude. Well, three pounds of attitude.

Ashlieya: He makes up what he quote-unquote lacks in weight—in character. He’s a big character.

Neff: Character. Oh, that is so great. Character. I want to use the word character now, from now on. Instead of attitude, I'm going to try to use the word character.

Ashlieya: There are many facets to him.

Neff: Ooh, what a great word.

Ashlieya: Being all that he is, in his qualities and attributes.

Neff: He's like this precious gemstone.

Ashlieya: He is… shining in all his facets and glory. And he's a sentient being.

Neff: Let's celebrate Gleoite today.

Ashlieya: Totally, Gleoite.

Neff: Oh, he is a handsome boy, isn't he?

Ashlieya: Mm-hmm. He is.

Neff: And he, again, is so content to be just sitting by Mom.

Ashlieya: Yep.

Neff: It's delightful.

Ashlieya: They prefer me. They're loyal. They're very loyal.

Neff: Oh, super cool.

Ashlieya: I love it. With all my travels, they come back, preferring me above all else.

Neff: Yeah. I mean, they love everybody, but not the same.

Ashlieya: No, no.

Neff: They're much more loyal to you. Which is cool. Right on.

Healing Meditation

Ashlieya: Okay. What are we talking about today?

Neff: Oh, we are scheduled—literally scheduled—to talk about the healing meditation.

Ashlieya: Yes. We're doing these more for people. So, we spoke—we could talk about responsibility and accountability, or we can just dive in. I don't know that we need to speak about exactly the ritual or the process of the healings that we do. I mean, we can. I'm very open about it. I'm very willing, if anyone is curious.

Neff: I do think you went through a special kind of plan for Carl. Like, you definitely went through—like, we've done these before. We've done energy healing processes, energy healing meditations, and energy healing ceremonies. What do you want to call that?

Ashlieya: You can call it just sending love. There's lots of ways that you can call it. You can call it a ritual. You can call it a session. You can call it a ceremony.

Neff: Sure. But we've done them before.

Ashlieya: I've been doing them for a long time.

Neff: Some of them are very spontaneous. For instance, with my foot, it was kind of like, “Let's do this,” and we did it. Literally, we went, “We're going to do this.” You took like 20 minutes to prepare, I think it was, and then we did a healing meditation session, right? And it was super powerful. It was wonderful. It was really great.

And then with Carl, you had a plan. You put together pictures. You put together kind of—we talked about it beforehand. We talked a little bit more as a group, because we did this as a group. And we kind of talked about it as an experience and what we were all focusing on and things like that, right?

Ashlieya: Yeah. We called it Gift a Miracle—Operation Gift a Miracle.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: And it's the whole—there's so much, it gets difficult for me to organize it in a way to formulate and articulate how to verbally explain it all. The whole purpose in us sharing this is to help people understand that magic and miracles are a thing. It's real. Magic and miracles are around us all the time, and it's just a matter of: do you know how to see them? Do you know how to be aware of them? Are you wanting them to come into your awareness? Do you have the ability to allow them in your field of perception? Because they are there, and it's, again, all about how you assign meaning to things and understand, for yourself and for your reality, what is actually possible.

When you believe something is possible, it probably is. It's just a matter of how you look at that thing and how you welcome it into your reality—how you make manifest your existence and the particulars and nuances, the facets, of your existence.

Neff: Yeah. I really like the way you described that just now, because part of my insight going through this—I just had some personal thoughts on how I was perceiving things, right? And one of them was, I think it's so much easier for me personally, and I would probably argue for many people, to say, “I'm going to help somebody else,” or “The miracle works for them, but it doesn't necessarily work for me.”

And I'm not saying that I actually say it doesn't work for me, but I'm starting to realize that that could be a roadblock, or a kind of a ceiling to my existence, is my belief that maybe this works for other people.

Ashlieya: Let's stop talking so generally, shall we? The point of this is, again, to share what we know.

Neff: Yes.

Ashlieya: And what has been real and true for us, so as to perpetuate the expansion in understanding what is real and understanding how this three-dimensional universe works. So, I understand what you're saying: this idea that there's a limitation pertaining to your own self-worthiness and gifting yourself a miracle, as opposed to gifting on behalf of someone else. That you, for yourself, have found a way to generate more momentum, more emphasis, more motivation, and therefore more result in contributing to someone else's betterment as opposed to your own. And I have so much respect for that. I think there's a reason as to why that is, obviously, for you. There's a truth to it.

Anybody that does for someone else is also doing for themselves, and that's a big part of how this process works, when you understand energy healing, when you understand what you're actually doing. I don't identify personally as a practitioner. I'm not a Reiki master. I don't do any of that. I've been naturally doing what I was taught to do from the time I was a young, young child. And I get spontaneously—you can call it downloads, you can call it communication with angels, entities, beings—simply, my auric field can shift or receive frequency, expanding further information, giving me insight into how to do something. You can call it intuition sometimes, channeling, however you would like. I don't adhere to one particular practice or principle or rule. I just do what naturally or intuitively is what I'm seeing to do in the moment. Feeling, hearing, all the things. We've cured cancer. The two of us.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: You're looking at me like you're falling asleep.

Neff: No, no, no. Yeah, absolutely.

Ashlieya: I've grown bone, which is said to be impossible.

Neff: Right.

Ashlieya: And by “I” and “we,” I use that very fluidly because I don't think I do anything. I'm a channel. I'm a vessel. I'm an instrument. It's not my work. It's not my doing. I'm not chosen. I'm not special. I'm not unique in any way. Anything that I've ever experienced, other humans are perfectly able and capable of also experiencing. That's why we are talking about this: to understand it is possible.

So, I've witnessed many miracles. You've witnessed many miracles.

Neff: Absolutely.

Ashlieya: Let's stop talking so generally about it. Yeah.

Neff: Oh yeah, sure. Absolutely.

Ashlieya: So, the point of this for Carl—this is an extension of a conversation that we had prior. I had a meeting with my dad after 20 years of not seeing him. Prior to that was an entirely absent relationship. Obviously, I hadn't seen him for 20 years—no exchanges, no communication of any kind. Prior to that, it was perceived as very heavily abusive, tumultuous, toxic, et cetera. Spare you the details.

Cut to this conversation being—unbeknownst in the moment, I had no idea I was being given the formula and the recipe to perform what I personally choose to believe is a really profound healing of an entire lineage and multiple generations of a family line, as well as this really profound timeline shift on behalf of this other person, my dad. And we were able to go through this really beautiful—again, calling it ceremony, ritual, session, whatever you would like—purely with a benevolent intention, and it was extremely powerful.

And that's what we're talking about today. We're talking about understanding that going back and changing time, changing history, changing your life's trajectory from the past, is entirely possible. There are multiple generational things that can continue—we call them breaking the chain, breaking the pattern, breaking the cycle. There are a lot of us that have these perpetual, multiple-generational incidents, issues, themes, wounds. And I was able to go back and completely, wholeheartedly heal and eradicate them—like, eradicate them—for myself.

I cannot speak to anybody else. I would love to have someone else on the podcast that was also a part of that lineage that could speak to what their experience would be. That would be pretty cool. But for me, in my reality, there was a massive shift and a huge ascension in vibrational frequency, as well as just this whole self-wellness that we talk about really often. And it affects other people, and we can contribute to the betterment of others because we are all connected, and that's the way it works. And it takes a clear intention and an elevated emotion, and you're acting in congruence with what is natural and what is truly benevolent.

And therefore you can really do no wrong, honestly.

Neff: Yeah. To your point, you've done that on your own for yourself.

Ashlieya: And others, yep.

Neff: Several times. And then we also made a plan to do it as a group. So, obviously, all of it has been beneficial, and like you said, it's not just beneficial for those that you attempt to do it for, but also for yourselves.

Ashlieya: And I don't do healings—like I said, I'm not a person that markets it. I don't promote it. It's not something, if you contact me and say, “Can you do a healing for me?” I mean, it depends—maybe. I only do them if I'm invited to do them, if I'm given permission to do them. I don't go around, again, advertising this as a service I offer. That's not how it works for me.

Personally, that's just something I don't—it's not in my coherence to do it that way. I love anyone who has a benevolent intention and who navigates their professional life, or has their livelihood in any way associated with energy or coherence healing. I think that's absolutely fantastic. I personally don't do that. So, I'm not coming on here pitching myself as a healer in any way. I'm a creator and I'm a builder. That's how I move forward in life. I can be an example, and that's what I'm doing, is I'm being an example of something that is possible.

I've done things that could be considered healings my entire life. I learned how to do them from the time I was a very young child, and that was just a part of my existence in this life. It's been something I've done as a very young child. So, it's just a part of my existence in this life so far. But I just want people to understand that they can do it for themselves. We can do it for… we can do it for ourselves, and on behalf of our families, on behalf of the communities that we're involved in.

It's not about spells or any sort of witchy behavior. It's about energy and intention.

Neff: So, if you were to say, “This is how someone might go through doing this for somebody or for themselves,” what would that look like?

Ashlieya: Coherence. You must come from an aligned place energetically. So, the more that you can get in tune with your body—your body is an instrument—the more that you can allow for the flow of energy through your body, the more aware and susceptible you'll be to channeling energy, to maneuvering energy in a way that has the utmost influence.

It's all about efficiency and being aware, as well as having an intention. So, the more that you can partner with your physiology and befriend this beautiful instrument that is your body, and develop a semblance of attunement—an attunement to energy, an attunement to the way your body speaks to you and the way your body receives information—we receive information through all of our senses. Some of us have a greater relationship or susceptibility to receiving information through particular senses over others. It's important to generate an awareness and a connection to that.

An example: I do hear things. I audibly have heard things. I do hear things. I hear things all the time that I don't know if other people in the room necessarily hear.

Neff: And this is during the energy work? It's during the process?

Ashlieya: I mean, it's kind of my day-to-day. Like, to be honest, no, I'm not schizophrenic. I've questioned that many times, but I am not. And then I see things. So, I see things that I know most people cannot see. You can see them if you, again, understand what they are and can bring it into your perception from a conceptual place. You can only perceive that which you can conceive.

Once you start to understand and believe what is real, your reality then matches that and will start to design and create this architecture that is in alignment with that. But it's all going to start with your instrument, your body. That's the filter through which we move through this life as our own little unique humans. It's what makes us unique, is our physical body. So, being very close and connected, and understanding how to use it, befriend it, love it, and collaborate with it, that's going to be a very significant part.

And then from there, there's a lot of Reiki practices that talk about this. Shamans talk about it. There are more contemporary modalities right now that speak about it in a similar way. You're utilizing a very clear intention coupled with an elevated emotion. Love and gratitude tend to be more of the higher-frequency-emitting emotions. Emotions are nuanced ways for being able to title or articulate different frequencies. Our bodies perceive emotion. It's the body's predominant language. That is how our bodies communicate, is through emotion. And emotions are ever so varied and ever so layered and complicated, and so is the frequency that they each uniquely emit.

Neff: Yeah. So, we are all energy.

Ashlieya: We are all energy.

Neff: We were just listening to a podcast where the biologist on that podcast was like, yeah, the difference between a body that is dead—a cadaver—and one that is alive is energy.

Ashlieya: Yeah. You can call it your life force. You can call it your soul. You can call it your auric field. You can call it whatever you'd like. There's a magnetic effect, and there's definitely an electric effect. And this is all proven in different sciences. This is all measurable. None of this is hearsay. None of this is woo-woo. You can measure it.

Neff: It's very scientific, yeah.

Ashlieya: You measure energy and you can measure frequency. And there's all these different reports, or cases, examples of people who have done extremely profound things that are said to be quote-unquote impossible, that have happened. So, for whatever reason, however you would like to equate any measuring influence or why, it is possible.

If it's been done once, it can be done again. And there are very exceptional things that we can accomplish simply by aligning our energy, coming from a very coherent place. You cannot have a low frequency and a low embodied frequency and be coherent. It creates dissonance with organic matter. We, as organic beings, our biofield has to maintain a sense of organization in order for us to thrive. And that organization is coherent energy.

When you start to introduce other frequencies that are of lower vibration, it creates a dissonance. From dissonance, it doesn't tend to create the same organizational component. It doesn't have the same degree of influence as coherent energy. So, when you're wanting to do anything regenerative, anything growth, anything that has this—what you would consider to be a miraculous healing event—it requires coherent energy.

Neff: Yeah. They've done studies that prove that anxiety, stress, any type of, like, you're talking about, which is a lower-vibrational energy, will chemically in the body create disease.

Ashlieya: Yes. Exactly.

So, magic and miracles are real.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: And this is a recipe to being able to understand how to produce more magic and miracles in your own life.

Neff: Tapping into the energy of magic and miracles through elevated emotion.

Ashlieya: Coherence.

Neff: Coherence.

Ashlieya: You know, forgiveness is something that we talked about a lot the last podcast. Radical forgiveness. That was something I had to get to with my dad in order to achieve this degree of coherence for my own energetic field, so as to most effectively and optimally contribute the way that I was able to during these sessions, during these ceremonies.

You can't have fear or judgment that perpetuates dissonance. So around a lot of these subjects, which for many can be really quite polarizing—the subject of sexual abuse, rape, molestation, all of these things—I've had to get to a radical forgiveness around, and that entails being able to understand and see from every perspective of the situation and be able to navigate this semblance of non-judgment. That's not to say that I don't have a personal view and a very strong stance against those behaviors, because I do.

It's a matter of being able to go into a session or ceremony without that piece of myself in the forefront of my awareness and attention. The piece that is on the forefront is rather this idea of, again, radical acceptance to situations and circumstances—not from a place of neutrality, but from a place of benevolent intention—so as to eradicate those behaviors from potential, from the truth of an actual human experience, and create this field of unified consciousness. So that as the collective involved in the ceremony is elevating themselves with the utilization of this higher emotion, organizing—literally organizing—matter, organizing DNA, organizing the quantum field that surrounds us, to then create environments and circumstances where those behaviors are no longer perpetuated or happening. They're just not in the realm of existence.

Neff: Well, and to be able to understand, just like you said, like, it's not—you don't condone those type of things.

Ashlieya: You don't accept them.

Neff: You are aware of them, and you also have the desire—or I don't know if desire is the right word—but you're basically going, “No, this isn't what I want to perpetuate in this world,” and still stay high-vibrating, right? Because that, I think, is a challenge for most people, is to look at maybe the atrocities of life.

Ashlieya: Well, it's a different conversation, but yes.

Neff: Right. But, I mean…

Ashlieya: We’re getting very confusing now. But go on…

Neff: In order to transmute these experiences into something that is powerful and magical and miracles, you can't focus on the negative side of it.

Ashlieya: So, no—let—yeah. When you introduce all of those things, it can get very confusing. None of that is really what we're talking about when it comes to performing a healing. But since you brought all that up, this is going to get really long and really complicated.

Neff: Well, we can edit that out and we can actually just continue on in the direction you're going.

Ashlieya: Well, let me speak about it, and then we can edit the whole thing out if we want, because you just opened a whole can of worms that now cannot—you brought it up for a reason.

Neff: Well, yeah.

Ashlieya: So, anything that we perceive, anything that comes into our conscious awareness, has to do with us, whether we like it or not. But to whatever degree is for us to assign meaning to or not. Anything that ever happens in our lives is for us to assign meaning to or not assign meaning to. And we have the power to do that. That's why we have free will.

The whole purpose of judgment, the whole purpose of discernment, putting things on the spectrum—the lower-vibrating versus the higher-vibrating—has to do with us. It's a tool to aid in our free will. That's why that is. That is the purpose of it. That's the only extent in which we should be exercising or perpetuating any judgment, is for the sake of that discernment: is this something that falls in the lower-vibrating for me, or is it something that falls in higher-vibrating for me? And depending on where that falls in the spectrum is going to determine what and how you navigate what comes next for you.

We should always be acting from a state of coherence. There are things that affect us and can be, you can say, polarizing, triggering. I like the word shenpa. And there is a process for understanding and evaluating why that polarizing effect is present. And there's multiple layers to that and multiple ways to go about bringing that to a full, whole understanding and a whole transmutation and reframe, so as to not continue to be affected by that thing in a quote-unquote negative way.

There are things that we can have that can come into our realm of existence that are uncomfortable. Typically, there are options, and I like to view it as predominantly two options when something is presented to you that you find uncomfortable. You either have the ability to expand and grow from that thing, or with that thing, in collaboration to your emotions and responses and reactions to that thing, and you choose to expand and move forward in a way that no longer makes that thing uncomfortable for you. Or you are able to move the other direction, and through your discernment, through your investigative processes, you determine that that discomfort is meant to keep you on a certain path or trajectory, and it's a boundary, so to speak. And so you use that to act as a mile marker to say, “Well, I'm going this direction,” and it's affirmation you're going the direction you should be. That's—go ahead.

Neff: Well, that's what I mean. In the previous two podcasts, right, I think that—that is the example that you showed, is you had a personal experience with dealing with some—we're going to say it—abuse, right? So, you had some abuse in your life when you were younger.

Ashlieya: I don't think I do anymore, which is the point.

Neff: Well, no, I know. That's what I'm saying, is that the process that you're talking about is the process that you went through so that you didn't have the low vibration when it comes to that specific subject, right? And it's very specific for you because of the experiences that you went through, right?

Ashlieya: Yeah. I can now talk about a lot of things, but again, they don't even feel like my history anymore. It doesn't feel like my child self, younger Ashlieya—I don't think she was abused anymore. Like, I don't. The truth is that she wasn't. There was a time, a timeline, an old version, an old narrative where that could have been viewed as the truth. That's not my truth anymore. It's not her truth anymore.

Neff: Sure.

Ashlieya: You can literally change history. You change it—like, change it. You can change your past. So it's not even real anymore.

Neff: And that's what I'm talking about when I'm saying this is all a process that you went through, right? And when we start doing these kind of, I guess, sessions—like healing sessions or meditative sessions that are to help the collective, right—then we have to kind of go through similar processes. The idea that bad things happen to good people, right? I mean, this is outside of us a little bit, right? We're looking at it and going, “Oh, so-and-so got hurt so badly,” or abused or killed or whatever. You know what I mean? And it's like, “Okay, I want to make a difference in this world. I want to make a change.” You know, and we do say it's from an inward-to-outward process.

Ashlieya: I understand what you're saying now.

Neff: But it's like, okay, I can't make that change from seeing that and being in a negative or in a low-vibrating state.

Ashlieya: You have to be the change.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: So, be the change, and that's literal, like emitting the contrasting frequency. If you are upset about something and you perceive something as lower-vibrating, the only thing that is going to really, really directly affect the most amount of change is being the opposite of that.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: You can't fight fire with fire. You burn the house down.

Neff: Right. And we did talk about that earlier.

Ashlieya: So, you know, if I am to eradicate sexual abuse and molestation, I must be the frequency that essentially would never be capable of that, and perpetuate that—not perpetuate anything, really—that is that which you see, you see with. So, it's choosing to embody the fullest expression of that which you are intentionally trying to emulate and perpetuate.

If you're upset about something and you're feeling mal—if you're feeling like a sense of negative intent toward someone, like you have this mal-intent, you have a malicious energy about you in that moment—that's okay. You can have that feeling and allow it to be the transient, temporary feeling that it will be, but you don't take action from that place. And you purposefully use your free will to not live in that state.

Neff: Exactly.

Ashlieya: You can have a passionate nature toward wanting to be the change, but the actions taken, when they're taken from a state of coherence, you're never going to have any semblance of destruction. It's literally impossible to perpetuate destruction when you are in true coherence.

Everything is to a series of degrees, of course. That's the way frequency works. It's not an all-or-nothing thing. It's very nuanced. You can have conflicting emotions, as we all tend to. So, it's a matter of what do you feed, and where do you take your action from? Are you living and following through with the inspiration that derives more from the mal-intent, or are you more in alignment with the inspiration that has derived from the more positive intent?

Neff: Exactly. So you're still aware of it. You're just choosing.

Ashlieya: If you focus on it. Awareness is an intentional choice. It's not a passive thing.

Neff: Right.

Ashlieya: Awareness takes purpose. You must purposefully be aware. And there's awareness, and then there's true awareness. Like, you have to really be willing to know yourself. Knowing yourself is going to be key, and being honest about where you are on that spectrum and those conflicting emotions. Because you can think that you're doing something with a purely positive intention, and you may not be. And again, that's where mistakes—quote-unquote, I don't believe in mistakes—but that's where this perpetuation of a semblance of destruction can come from.

You do something and you're like, “Why? I meant for it to turn out well.” And it's like, “Why didn't it?” I really believe it's because you weren't necessarily navigating from your truest coherence, the fullest expression of a benevolent intention. If there's anything done in spite, anything done in vengeance, anything done for showing off, anything done that is needing to prove something, it's very rare that that will end up as a truly, wholeheartedly good thing.

Neff: Sure.

Ashlieya: And good, bad—again, I don't like to use those words, but low-vibrating versus high-vibrating.

Neff: Yeah. So, putting yourself in that high-vibrational state, even in challenges, even in stress, even in moments that cause us—

Ashlieya: I wouldn't even say it like that, to be honest. You're wanting to—it's a whole-self acceptance. It's a radical, unconditional love for whole self. The light creates the dark. Light creates shadow. You are going to have darkness about you. You're going to have darkness around you. You're going to have darkness come into your life. You must know low-vibrating in order to know high-vibrating. There will always be a contrast. There will always be this polarizing duality. That is the law of this land. You must understand it. You must abide by it, appreciate it, accept it, and love it.

It is an integration of both sides. You are simply using your free will to allow the one side to be the driver and the catalyst for that which you take action from and that which you purposefully perpetuate with the intention. It's not an avoidance to anything. It's not choosing to say, “Oh, if I'm not living in this high-vibrating state, I'm doing something wrong.” No. You are going to allow yourself to temporarily go to the lowest of the low. You're going to take a visit at whatever your rock bottom is a couple times, because that's when you know you're going to be able to go back the other direction. Everything that happens has an equal, countered opposite. So, you can take the low lows, be in them, sit in them, appreciate them, understand them, be curious about them.

You don't have to… the whole point is to live life without being in fear and being—getting comfortable being uncomfortable. That's more what the intention is. It's not necessarily doing everything you can to stay out of the dark or stay out of investigating the wickedness. Know the evil. Know the wickedness. Understand it, and then my message is: forgive it. Forgive it, accept it, and then go back to the joy. Go back to the love. Go back to the gratitude for the beauty and the awe and the grandeur of all that is a wonderful life. You have to visit the other side of that every once in a while with, honestly, a very welcoming sentiment. That's what it's about.

Neff: Yeah, that's great. Absolutely.

Ashlieya: And there is a beauty in understanding that the laws of this world do require both. It requires the lower-vibrating and it requires the higher-vibrating. So, personally, I view it as a blessing when someone else is embodying the lower-vibrating because, through compassion, empathy, and understanding, I can be a witness to it and vicariously experience and learn from it without directly, personally having to have my own situation provoke it. I can simply be a witness and an observer, and then I can sit in the gratitude that essentially someone else was able to emit that for me so that I don't have to, and I can be the contrast in that moment.

Because that's being the example. That's Christ consciousness. That's being the change. That's taking responsibility and accountability for every situation that you're a part of, indirectly or directly.

Neff: Oh yeah. No, that's beautiful.

Ashlieya: Thanks.

Neff: Very cool.

Ashlieya: Yeah. So, I don't know what time we're at, but yeah, the whole point is to just help people to understand that, no matter what situation you're in, no matter what you're witnessing or whatever you're finding yourself a part of, the limits that we're taught to perceive pertaining to how we can affect things are not real. The limits are not real.

And that's the purpose of this podcast in this moment. That's the message, is understanding for yourself how to push the boundaries of what you perceive in this three-dimensional reality, because magic and miracles are as real and as true as your beliefs will allow them to be.

Neff: Yeah. What you believe, you can conceive. Absolutely.

Ashlieya: Well, once you can—what you can conceive, you can perceive. So, if you can know it, if you can know it, then it can be in your reality. It can be a building block to the architecture of your existence. Absolutely.

Neff: Yeah. And I think that, like you're saying, that is key to all of this, is belief. Belief that it is possible.

Ashlieya: Yeah. We know now that the placebo effect is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly effective in the use of medicines, in the use of healing the body, which is all about belief. It's all about what you think is happening to you, what you think you ingested, what you think the result will be, and there is then the production of that result.

And that is—I mean, to me, that's all you need to know with regards to getting on board. Like, what more convincing could anyone require? Your mind thinks something happened, and therein your body responded in accordance to that.

Neff: There are so many studies.

Ashlieya: Do your own investigations.

Neff: So many studies that prove that our brains can affect our bodies, like what we think can affect our bodies so dramatically.

Ashlieya: Well, our brain is the driver. That's the control center for how our bodies function.

Neff: Totally.

Ashlieya: And our brains are so smart, they're stupid.

Neff: Yeah. Yes. I say that all the time. That's a perfect way of saying it, actually.

Ashlieya: It's like, I have my own experience with neuroscience and the study of that and all of it, and it's really incredible what we are capable of self-inducing.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: And we self-induce so much more than we are consciously aware of, and that which isn't conscious is unconscious. So, you may as well bring it into your conscious awareness.

Neff: Yeah. Tap into the understanding that all of these studies prove. Tap into it. Why not?

Ashlieya: For yourself. Again, I'm a huge fan of allowing people to live as they want to. It's all understanding. You don't know what you don't know.

Neff: Right.

Ashlieya: And your options, your purview, is limited by what you know. So, the more you can expand on what you know, the more options you have, the more versatility and variance you have. It creates a lot less limitation with regards to your existence, your whole reality, that which makes up your own little universe. There's a lot more potential there than what, in commonplace, everyday average person—there's way more to life than that. Way more. So, it's all about knowing and learning and expanding.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: So you can thrive.

Neff: The belief that anything is possible. Magic and miracles.

Ashlieya: Magic and miracles.

Neff: Absolutely. Powerful. So powerful.

Ashlieya: And we are responsible and accountable for everything in our purview. Not in a way that requ—well, we'll do another episode on that.

Neff: Yeah.

Ashlieya: We'll do an episode on accountability and responsibility.

Neff: Yes. We had a great conversation about accountability and responsibility. But yes, the belief that magic and miracles are possible, the vibrating at a gratitude and love vibration, makes all things possible, right?

Ashlieya: Yeah. Be the change you wish to see in the world.

Neff: Be the change. I think that's powerful.

Ashlieya: Building a better world is an inward-to-outward process.

Neff: So, anything—I mean, again, this is, I think, the theme to what we've been talking about—but it's like taking either personal experiences or things that you see in life that could be considered lower-vibrational, right? Transmuting them into something that actually is a benefit to you, and then utilizing that to create magic and miracles in your own life.

Ashlieya: So, have you witnessed any magic or miracles as of late? I want to hear about that. How do you define magic and miracles? Are they the same, or are they separate? I'm very curious. Please like, comment, and subscribe. Until then, build a better world. We'll see you next time.
